Société Étrange, Antoine Bellini, Romain Hervault and Jonathan Grandcollot revives the roots of music often cataloged as kraut, or the trippy alliance of organic machines and instruments. Yet no nostalgia or silly and nasty quotes in this completely timeless trance music. Société Étrange is writing a sound journey for the present.

The next album by Société Etrange will be released by Maison Tempête and Bongo Jo. They are currently in the middle of recording. The album will be out at the end of 2025.

Plein Soleil is the solo project of Jonathan Grandcollot, who is also a member of the brilliant Société Étrange, Pan Pan Pan, and Omertà. Reflecting the style of his album *U.V*, released on Zèbres Records in 2021, his music is composed of various textures and unfolds like a sonic sculpture. A multitude of samples—repetitive, disorienting, and staccato—are blended to create a polyphonic ensemble interwoven with analog drums.

Performing live, Plein Soleil seamlessly juggles between machines and drums, captivating audiences with both his stage presence and the intricate complexity of his music, which fuses dub, tribal, and experimental elements.
