choolers division
sylvain quatreville
The Choolers Division project was born in 2013 out of an artistic experiment led by musician Antoine Boulangé, who discovered the talent of two young Down's syndrome rappers, Kostia Botkine and Philippe Marien. Boulangé then enlisted French musician Jean-Camille Charles to form an electrifying and unconventional electro hip-hop group. Far from a compassionate approach, Choolers Division's DIY hip-hop is energetic, funny, corrosive, and pure dance music. The group has performed at numerous cultural venues and major European festivals, gaining success and support from both the underground and contemporary music scenes. With their princely flow and explosive lyrics, Marien and Botkine shine on stage, backed by the innovative music of Boulangé and Charles, and the soundtracked adventures of their fifth member, Sylvain Quatreville. Together, they take audiences on a wild, uncensored journey.
